FLY AWAY PETER, FLY AWAY PAUL

AVOID JET LAG

  • Avoid being stressed out, fatigued or hung-over just before a flight. A good night’s sleep prior to any flight is a must.

  • Though a matter of personal preference, but for most travelers and we too at Déjàvu think that daytime flights cause less jet lag.

  • The dry air in the aircraft causes dehydration. Drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids to counter this. Alcohol is dangerous for it has a greater intoxicating effect when drunk in the rare field atmosphere of an aircraft.

  • Use eye pads, ear plugs, neck rests and other accessories provided for your comfort.

  • Get as much exercise as you can particularly in long haul flights. Standing for short spells, walking up and down the aisle a couple of times and small stretching exercises helps reduce the possibility of blood clots, and hence, trauma. Get off the plane, if allowed, at stopovers.
